Earth Venture Mission

Earth Venture Mission

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) issues Announcements of Opportunity (AOs) for the purpose of soliciting proposals for investigations to be implemented through its Earth Venture Mission (EVM) Program. EVM solicitations call for proposals for complete PI-led spaceflight missions to conduct innovative, integrated, hypothesis or scientific question-driven approaches to pressing Earth system science issues. All investigations proposed in response to these solicitations must support the goals and objectives of the EVM Program, must be implemented by Principal Investigator (PI) led investigation teams, and must be implemented through the provision of complete spaceflight missions.

Proposed investigations are evaluated and selected through a single-step competitive process. The single-step competitive process entails the solicitation, submission, evaluation, and selection of proposals prepared in response to these AOs. As the outcome of these solicitations, NASA intends to select at least one investigation for funding through all Phases (A-F) of mission development for flight and operations.
